Composition
The active substance in this medicine is cetirizine dihydrochloride. One film-coated tablet contains 10 mg
cetirizine dihydrochloride
Excipients: Tablet core: LACTOSE monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose (grade 102), croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, anhydrous, magnesium stearate.
Tablet coating: hypromellose (5cp), titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 400.
Application
In adults and children 6 years of age and older, Cetirizine diHCl Sanias 10 mg is for the relief of:
- nasal and ocular complaints associated with seasonal and non-seasonal allergic rhinitis.
- chronic hives (chronic idiopathic urticaria).
Dosage
Adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older:
The recommended dose is: 10 mg once daily (1 tablet once daily).
Children 6 to 12 years of age:
The recommended dosage is: 5 mg twice daily (1/2 tablet twice daily).
