The hydrocolloid part of Cutimed® Hydro L (light) forms a soft gel after absorbing wound fluid. This soft gel creates a moist wound environment and thus promotes wound healing. Due to the high vapor permeability of the film coating, evaporation of wound fluids occurs and the risk of softening of the wound edges is reduced. Cutimed® Hydro L (light) is thin and transparent. This allows visual inspection of the wound without removing the dressing.
