Lamisil foot fungus cream 10 mg/g, hydrophilic cream

Drug.

Lamisil foot fungus cream belongs to the group of anti-fungal preparations. This drug inhibits the growth of fungi and yeasts and can even kill certain fungi.

Lamisil foot fungus cream is used to treat foot fungus (tinea pedis).

Composition
The active substance in this drug is terbinafine hydrochloride 10 mg/g.
Excipients: sodium hydroxide, benzyl alcohol, sorbitan monostearate, cetyl palmitate, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, isopropyl myristate, purified water

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years of age and older

- The opening of the tube is sealed with aluminum. You can pierce the closure

by pressing the inverted cap of the tube on it with some force.

- Before applying cream, wash and dry the skin carefully.

- Apply a thin layer of cream on the inflamed skin and a small area around it.

- Rub the cream in lightly.

- If the inflammation is in a fold of skin (between the toes), especially at night, the skin can be covered after applying the cream.

cover the skin with a sterile gauze after rubbing it in.

Wash your hands after rubbing in.

How often and for how long should you use Lamisil foot fungus cream:

Once a day for one week.

Usually improvement of symptoms occurs after only a few days. Irregular use or stopping

premature stopping of the cream increases the chance of the symptoms returning. If

there is no improvement after 1 week, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Elderly:

There is no evidence that elderly patients would require a different dosage or experience different

side effects than younger patients.

Children:

With the administration of Lamisil foot fungus cream on the skin to children under 12 years of age

only limited experience exists and therefore its use in this age group is not recommended.

Do not use if

- You are allergic to terbinafine or to any of the other substances contained in this medicine. Allergy or hypersensitivity can be recognized for example by red spots and bumps on the skin or itching.

- in children under 12 years of age.
