Livsane Antifungal Cream Miconazole Nitrate 20 mg/g, cream

Miconazole nitrate belongs to the group of antimycotics. These drugs cause fungi to be killed.

Application
Miconazol nitrate is used in infections of skin and nails caused by miconazol nitrate-sensitive fungi and yeasts.

Do not use if
- You are allergic to any of the substances in this medicine.
- You are allergic to other similar antifungal medicines.

Composition
Active substance: Each gram of hydrophilic cream contains 20 mg miconazole nitrate
Excipients: ethylene glycol palmitostearate and polyoxyethylene glycol palmitostearate, oleoyl macrogolglycerides, kerosene, benzoic acid (E210: 2 mg/g), water.

Dosage
If your doctor does not prescribe otherwise, the dosage is as follows:

Skin infections
Apply a little cream once or twice daily to the affected area of skin and spread thinly. When treating infections of the feet, it is recommended to sprinkle a little miconazole nitrate powder on the lesion at the same time and as a post-treatment daily, especially between the toes, and possibly also in the stockings and shoes. Treatment should be continued continuously until at least one week after the skin lesion has completely disappeared (usually after 2 to 6 weeks).

Nail infections
Cut the infected nails as short as possible. Smear a little cream on the infected nail once or twice a day and cover the nail with a non-perforated suture patch. Continue treatment, even after the infected nail has become detached (usually after two to three weeks), until regrowth of a healthy nail and complete healing have occurred (usually after about 32 weeks).

Note: Daily washing of the infected areas is necessary.

If you notice that Livsane Antifungal Cream Miconazole Nitrate 20 mg/g is working too strongly or not enough, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

You should not use this drug for more than 14 days without consulting a doctor.

Indication for use.
This medicine is for external use only.
The opening of the tube is sealed with aluminum. You can pierce the seal by pressing the inverted cap of the tube onto it with some force. Before applying, the skin should be carefully washed and dried.
Apply just enough cream to the skin so that there is a thin layer of cream on the inflamed skin and a bit around it. Rub the cream in lightly. If the treated area is in a skin fold (under the breasts, between toes or fingers, in the groin or buttock), then, especially at night, the skin should be covered with a sterile gauze after rubbing in. Wash your hands afterwards, except if the area to be treated is on your hands.
