Lucovitaal Anti Itch Cream 50 ml

Anti Itch Cream by Lucovitaal® is a medical device for the treatment of chronic (extremely) dry skin conditions (xerosis). It provides relief from dryness, itching and chapped or red, irritated skin. Natural Olus Oil is a plant-based alternative to petroleum jelly, with an oily effect and with moisture-retaining properties, but it does not seal the skin. It prevents dehydration, is moisturizing and softens the skin. Dry skin is often accompanied by itching. Anti Itch Cream from Lucovitaal® treats, provides relief and soothes the skin.

Its protective properties contribute to the repair of the skin barrier and improved barrier function and provide physical protection against irritants and allergens. The product contains five active ingredients: glycerin, olus (vegetable) oil, dimethicone, propylene glycol and ceramide NP. Olus oil (alternative to Vaseline) and dimethicone work by forming a water- and oil-repellent layer on the surface of the skin that forms an external film against moisture loss. Glycerin and propylene glycol increase skin moisture by improving water absorption from the dermis to the epidermis. Ceramides form lipids to retain moisture and make the skin supple.

Use
Anti Itch Cream by Lucovitaal® is intended for external use for adults and children over 2 years of age. Apply the cream to dry or itchy skin for two to three times a day. Anti Itch Cream can be used to treat dry or itchy skin, but also as complementary therapy, in combination with other common therapies, including ointments containing corticosteroids. No interactions are known in this regard.

Warning
Keep out of reach of young children. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one or more ingredients. Lucovitaal Anti Itch Cream can also be used during pregnancy or lactation.
