As men age, hair growth on the head may decrease. It usually begins with bald patches on the crown and inlets at the temples. The bald patches can slowly spread and in some cases lead to complete baldness. This type of baldness is called androgenetic alopecia. This literally means baldness according to male pattern. Effect
Minoxidil reduces hair loss and, after a few months, promotes hair growth in some people. However, the hair often has a somewhat different color and texture than the original hair. Minoxidil works best in men under the age of forty who do not yet have much hair loss. Minoxidil reduces hair loss in one in three men and in one in two women.
The maximum effect is reached after one year. For a lasting effect, you must use this medicine every day. When you stop, the newly formed hairs disappear again. If you do not notice any growth after a year of use, further use is useless.
