Bronchicum Extra Strong belongs to the group of cough suppressant drugs and can be used for relief of cough symptoms.
Composition:
The active ingredient is codeine phosphate.
5 ml contains 1.95 mg codeine (hydrate).
- Other ingredients (excipients) are sodium benzoate; 5 ml contains 1.4 g honey,
1.35 g sucrose, 0.7 g glucose.
Usage:
Recommended dosage in adults: 20 ml at a time, up to 4 times a day.
Children under 12 years of age: Natterman Bronchicum Extra Strong is contraindicated for children under 12 years of age.
- For children under 12 years of age.
- You are breastfeeding.
- If you have been found to be sensitive to any of the ingredients in this medicine.
- When you have a diminished respiratory reserve. You can recognize this by, for example, the attack of shortness of breath due to cramping of
muscles and swelling of the mucous membrane of the airways, often accompanied by coughing and giving up phlegm (asthma (bronchial)) or if you have
have lung disease due to loss of elasticity of lung tissue accompanied by (severe) shortness of breath (emphysema).
- When your liver is not functioning properly.
- When you have damage or injury to your skull (intercranial lesion).
Young people older than 12 years
Natterman Bronchicum Extra Strong is not recommended for adolescents with impaired respiratory function for the treatment of cough and/or
colds
