Medicine

Noscapine suppresses the cough stimulus.

Noscapine is not suitable for coughs involving coughing up phlegm.

Composition:

Noscapine hydrochloride, 1 mg per ml of syrup.

Ingredients
Noscapine hydrochloride, citric acid (E330), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), sucrose sodium, sucrose, raspberry essence, purified water

Usage

Adults

15-30 ml 3 to 4 times daily (=24 hours).

Children 6-12 years of age.

15 ml 2 to 4 times a day.

Children aged 3-6 years

7.5 ml 2 to 4 times a day.
