Claims
Nurofen 200 tablet contains 200 mg of ibuprofen. This substance inhibits the formation of certain substances in the
body (called prostaglandins), which are involved in pain, fever and inflammatory reactions. In this
way ibuprofen reduces pain and fever and inhibits inflammation.

What this medicine is used for.
Nurofen 200 tablet is used: for symptomatic treatment of moderate to moderate pain
such as headache, menstrual pain, toothache, fever and pain in flu and colds, muscle pain, rheumatic pain and fever and pain after vaccination.

Do not use if
- you are allergic to any of the substances in this medicine.
- you have previously suffered from shortness of breath, asthma, hives or runny nose or swelling of the
face after using ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) or other similar painkillers
(NSAIDs);
- you have, or have had at least twice, a stomach ulcer or stomach bleeding;
- you have ever had bleeding or perforation in your stomach or
intestines;
- in severe liver failure, severe kidney failure or severe heart failure;
- during the last three months of pregnancy.

Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years: first take 1 - 2 tablets, then if necessary take 1 or 2 tablets
at a time.
Do not take more than 6 tablets per 24 hours; spread the times when you take Nurofen 200 tablet
as evenly as possible throughout the day and at least 4-6 hours apart.

Directions for use.
Swallow the tablets whole with plenty of water. Do not chew the tablets.
People with a sensitive stomach are advised to eat something before taking Nurofen 200
tablet.
