This medicine contains the active ingredient pantoprazole. Pantoprazole is a selective "proton pump inhibitor," a medicine that reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It is used to treat stomach acid-related gastrointestinal diseases.

This drug is used to treat adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older in:

• Treatment of symptoms (e.g., heartburn, acid regurgitation, pain when swallowing) associated with esophageal disease caused by reflux of stomach acid from the stomach.
• Long-term treatment of reflux esophagitis (an inflammation of the esophagus associated with reflux of stomach acid), and to prevent reflux esophagitis from recurring. This drug is used to treat adults
• To prevent ulcers of the stomach and duodenum caused by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), e.g., ibuprofen) in high-risk patients who need to take NSAIDs continuously.

Composition
- The active substance in this drug is pantoprazole. Each gastro-resistant tablet contains 20 mg pantoprazole (as sodium sesquihydrate). - The other substances in this drug are: Tablet core: calcium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone (type A), hydroxypropyl cellulose (type EXF), anhydrous sodium carbonate, anhydrous colloidal silicon. Coating: hypromellose, iron oxide yellow (E172), macrogol 400, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1), polysorbate 80, Ponceau 4R aluminum carmine (E124), quinoline yellow aluminum carmine (E104), sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide (E171), tri-ethyl citrate.

Dosage
The recommended dosage is one tablet per day. Do not exceed this recommended dose of 20 mg
pantoprazole per day.
