Claims
Leidapharm Paracetamol 500 mg belongs to the group of so-called analgesic and
fever-reducing medicines.

What this medicine is used for.
Leidapharm Paracetamol 500 mg is used for:
- headache
- fever and pain with flu and colds
- fever and pain after vaccination
- toothache
- nerve pain
- lumbago
- muscle pain
- menstrual pain

Do not use on
- Children under 4 years of age.
- You are allergic to any of the substances in this medicine

Composition
Active substance: One tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol.
Excipients: corn starch, gelatin, croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate.

Dosage
The recommended dosage is:
Children aged 4 to 6 years: one half (½) tablet of 500 mg 3-4 times daily.
Children 6 to 9 years of age: one half (½) tablet of 500 mg 4-6 times daily.
Children aged 9 to 12 years: one tablet of 500 mg 3-4 times a day.
Children 12 to 15 years of age: one tablet of 500 mg 4-6 times daily.
Adults: one or 2 tablets of 500 mg at a time, up to 6 tablets per day.
The lower frequency of administration is intended for the youngest children in the relevant
age group.
- This drug is not suitable for children under 4 years of age.
- There should be at least 4 hours between doses.
- Do not use in combination with other products containing paracetamol.
- Do not exceed the stated dosage.
- When symptoms of pain and/or fever reappear, administration may be repeated
according to indicated dosage schedule.
- If pain persists for more than 5 days or fever for more than 3 days or worse, or if
other symptoms occur, treatment should be stopped and a physician consulted.

The effective daily dose should not exceed 60 mg/kg/day (up to 2 g/day) in the
following situations:
- adults weighing less than 50 kg.
- mild to moderate hepatic insufficiency, Gilbert's syndrome (familial non-hemolytic
jaundice)
- dehydration
- chronic malnutrition

Directions for use.
The tablets should be taken with plenty of water (half a glass).
