Prioderm Oligodecene Oil Shampoo Plus 100 ml

This shampoo reduces static attraction to the hair, so that head lice cannot easily get on the hair and the hair is unfit to lay nits on. Prioderm Shampoo Plus contains no silicones, so it does not leave a greasy film on the hair.

Prioderm Shampoo Plus also contains oligodecene oil. This is a hydrocarbon mixture that is suffocating to head lice. It blocks the airways of the head lice and causes them to dry out. Because the shampoo reduces static attraction to the hair, Prioderm Shampoo Plus not only treats head lice and nits, but also has an after-effect. Head lice cannot get on the hair easily and the hair will be less suitable for nits to lay on. Note! The aftereffect is lost the moment swimming in chlorinated water or if the hair is washed with a shampoo in between.

Use
- Massage Prioderm Shampoo Plus thoroughly into dry hair and scalp so that the entire hair, from scalp to ends, is covered.
- Leave Prioderm Shampoo Plus on for 15 minutes (no longer)
- Comb the knots and tangles out of the hair with a regular, clean comb and divide the hair into four sections
- Then comb the hair very thoroughly with a nits comb per section
- While combing, remove any head lice and nits that are found
- After 15 minutes (including the combing time) first apply a little water to the hair to lather up the shampoo
- Rinse the lather thoroughly with plenty of water
- Repeat the treatment after 7 days if new head lice and nits are found.

Additional Information
- The hairs near the scalp and behind the ears should be treated extra well, as this is where most of the lice and nits are found
- Prioderm is for external use only
- If the treatment is performed in the evening, make sure that the person treated goes to bed with dry hair.
