Theranal hemorrhoid ointment

Lidocaine has a local anesthetic effect and combats or relieves the sensation of pain, itching, burning and irritation.
Zinc oxide and bismuth subnitrate both have an astringent effect.

Application
Theranal is used for local pain, burning and itching in internal and external hemorrhoids.

Composition
Active substances: 130 mg zinc oxide, 27 mg bismuth subnitrate and 18 mg lidocaine.
Excipients: aluminum chlorhydroxyallantoinate, yellow petroleum jelly, wool grease, liquid kerosene, thymol, cetyl alcohol

Dosage
For internal hemorrhoids:
Screw the cannula onto the tube and carefully apply the ointment by squeezing the tube after inserting the cannula into the anus.
For external hemorrhoids:
Clean the anal opening thoroughly. To do this, you can use a cotton ball with a little hemorrhoid ointment, for example. Dry off and apply the ointment liberally.

Use the ointment morning and evening and after each bowel movement.

Read the package insert before use.

Do not use if
If you suffer from bleeding hemorrhoids or diseases of the heart.
If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or to amide-type local anesthetics such as bupivacaine, mepivacaine and prilocaine.

Extra caution in
In case of bleeding and/or inflammation in the area where Theranal is to be applied
application; consult your physician first.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 25°C. Do not store in the refrigerator or freezer.
Do not use Theranal after the expiration date indicated on the box, tube or plastic strip after "Exp. The expiration date refers to the last day of that month.
