Voltaren K 12.5 mg is an analgesic that also reduces inflammation (swelling) and is fever-reducing.
Application
Voltaren K 12.5 mg is used in the treatment of rheumatic pain, muscle pain,
headache, tooth and molar pain and menstrual pain, acute lower back pain, pain and fever associated with flu,
strep throat and common cold
Composition
The active substance in this medicine is diclofenac potassium. One Voltaren K 12.5 mg tablet contains 12.5 mg of diclofenac potassium. The other substances in this medicine are: Core: silica, lactose, corn starch, sodium starch glycolate, polyvidone, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
Coating: methyl hydroxypropyl cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, titanium dioxide (E171).
Dosage
Initial dose 2 tablets. If needed, 1 or 2 tablets every 4-6 hours.
Caution!
Do not use in children under 12 years of age. Also do not use in stomach or duodenal ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding or other conditions, such as cerebral hemorrhage, hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any other analgesic/fever-reducing drug. Also if the kidneys are not working adequately, if you have a predisposition to bleeding, or are taking anticoagulants. Avoid use during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
